Ephraim Ayil – Legal Scholar and Juris Doctor Candidate
Ephraim Ayil is pursuing his juris doctor at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where he merges his expertise in historical linguistics and political theory with a focus on legal application. Awarded the Dean’s Scholarship, Ephraim Ayil actively participates in the Federalist Society, the Jewish Law Students Association, and the Dallas Bar Association’s student division, underscoring his dedication to both academic and professional growth.
Currently serving as a judicial intern at the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas, Ephraim Ayil contributes to appellate research and legal drafting, honing his skills in judicial analysis. His prior roles include research assistant at the Hillsdale College Kirby Center in Washington, D.C., and Fellow for American Statecraft in the office of Congressman Jim Banks. These experiences reflect his ability to navigate the intersections of law, policy, and research.
A graduate of Touro University with a B.A. in political science, Ephraim Ayil earned Dean’s List honors and multiple academic scholarships. His published work, featured with publishers such as Brill, highlights his commitment to rigorous research.
